Nothing but efficiency in the State system...

There's a department at the University of Florida which employs ten individuals. Two of the individuals were supervisors, one ran the place, the other one ran it under him.  Since apparently UF Physical Plant thinks the word "Supervisor" is taboo, they're going with the more acceptable term of "Manager".  According to the powers that be, UF's Physical Plant was too "top heavy" in regards to supervisors so many were demoted, keeping their pay of course. But in this case, in this department, not only were the two supervisors titles changed to Manager but in addition another three employees were promoted to Manager too.  That's right. Ten employees total and five of them are managers. And those just promoted to Manager will no doubt get the raise that comes with it.

Again, your tax dollars at work.
